To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived—that is to have succeeded.

“While working in an Inpatient setting, I worked with several veterans and first responders. First responders have the same problems a non-first responder might have, anxiety, depression, grief, addiction concerns, etc. However, they have the added layer of traumatic stress related to work and/or compassion fatigue. I also had the opportunity to be Involved with the Warriors Journey Home organization and have assisted in the facilitation of weekend workshops for veterans of all ages. These weekends were Inspiring and made me want to continue to serve our military community. I switched from Inpatient care to outpatient care in 2010 to provide longer-term clinical care for Individuals, Including first responders and our military.”
